1. Review the project requirements
MES will discuss the equipment, electrical needs, operating conditions, project schedule, and safety requirements.
2. Evaluate the existing system
Available power, distribution equipment, access, raceway routes, conductor requirements, grounding, protection, and shutdown needs will be reviewed.
3. Define the scope
The planned work, materials, estimated price, exclusions, scheduling, testing, and possible jobsite conditions will be explained.
4. Coordinate the work
The project will be coordinated with the customer, maintenance personnel, equipment vendors, contractors, inspectors, and other trades when needed.
5. Install, test, and document
The completed work will be inspected, tested, labeled, cleaned, and documented as required.
